Videos show two Fayetteville robberies

Fayetteville police on Friday released video from surveillance cameras of two unrelated robberies.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police on Friday released video from surveillance cameras of two unrelated robberies.

In the first robbery, on the night of July 27, three men carrying handguns entered a business, threatened the employees and beat one worker with a gun, police said. They stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.

In the second robbery, a man tried to rob the Kangaroo convenience store in the 7900 block of Raeford Road around 10 p.m. on Aug. 9, police said. After handing the clerk a $10 bill, the robber demanded money from the cash register and threatened the employee. The clerk, though, didn't give the robber any money, and he left the store.
