Victims of Fayetteville liquor house shooting identified

Police on Monday identified the three people who were shot early Sunday during a party at Fayetteville house used for illegal liquor sales.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police on Monday identified the three people who were shot early Sunday during a party at Fayetteville house used for illegal liquor sales.

Investigators said several people were at 357 Dick St. when shots were fired.

Ivery Montreat Elliott, 34, of the 6800 block of Marlowe Drive, was killed. Brandon Alexander Siermons, 22, of the 500 block of Spaulding Street, and Winfred Terell Lesane, 22, of the 1600 block of Gilmore Street, were wounded.

Siermons is listed in good condition Monday at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, while Lesane has been transferred to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill for treatment, police said.

Police said the home was being used as a "shot house" where alcoholic beverages are sold at all hours.
