FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — One of the Fayetteville convenience store employees who was shot in a Monday night robbery identified the gunmen's car for police.

Two masked gunmen stormed into the Quick Stop Tobacco Shop, at 502 Grove St., and demanded cash before opening fire. Detectives said there may have been two more people in a getaway car outside.

"I just got off the machines – playing the machines – and the guys were in a dark Charger, and the Charger was parked in front of the store," one of the victims told a 911 dispatcher.

Najib Bouzerda, 44, was shot three times and was critically wounded. Mohamed Ould, 41, was shot twice.

Two customers who were inside the store at the time hid from the gunmen behind video machines, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information about the shooting is asked to call detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910483-8477.
