The Moore County Sheriff's Office said Friday that deputies have arrested a 60-year-old man on rape and incest charges.

<b>VASS, N.C.</b> — The Moore County Sheriff’s Office said Friday that deputies have arrested a 60-year-old man on rape and incest charges.

Ronnie Lynn Furr, of Furr Road in Vass, is charged with second-degree rape, felony incest and misdemeanor sexual battery following an investigation Thursday. Deputies did not provide further details.

Furr also had an outstanding warrant from 1990 for misdemeanor bastardy, a charge related to nonpayment of child support.

Furr was held in the Moore County Detention Center on a $500,000 secured bond. He received an additional $5,000 secured bond on the misdemeanor charge.

He is scheduled for a first court appearance Monday.
