DURHAM, N.C. — U.S. marshals have caught a Morrisville man who is a suspect in cases of child molestation and sexual assault, Durham police said.

Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Jimmy Edward Brown, 26, of Folsom Lane, in the 800 block of Lee Street Monday morning.

Brown had been wanted on two counts each of sexual offense with a child and taking indecent liberties with a minor. Those offenses involved two boys in 2008, police said.

He had been out on bond for a first-degree sexual assault charge stemming from an incident in 2006, police said.

According to state Department of Correction records, Brown was convicted of breaking-and-entering and larceny in Orange County in 2001.
