CLAYTON, N.C. — Clayton police are looking for two men who stole a 40-inch television from a local Walmart.

It happened around 9:15 p.m. on Oct. 2 at the discount department store at 805 Town Center Blvd.

Police say the men removed the anti-theft device from the TV, worth $500.

Security photos released Tuesday are a bit blurry, but investigators hope someone will recognize the men or the mini-van they were driving.

One man is described as being heavy-set, and the second is much more slender.

Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to call the Clayton Police Department at 919-553-4611 or Clayton Crime Stoppers at 919-359-8479. A reward is available for confidential information that leads to an arrest.
