Two people were shot at a Chapel Hill gas station early Sunday, police said.

<b>CHAPEL HILL, N.C.</b> — Two people were shot at a Chapel Hill gas station early Sunday, police said.

The shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Kangaroo Express at the University Mall, on South Estes Drive, between U.S. 15/501 and Franklin Street.

Police said the victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at UNC Hospitals. Their identities weren't released.

Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call police Investigator Nikeisha Tabron at 919-968-2767, extension 113, or Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards of up to $2,500 for anonymous tips that solve crimes.
