RALEIGH, N.C. — Two North Carolina counties will face big decisions on Tuesday.

Johnston voters will look at a countywide bond referendum on three issues. If the bond is approved, $99 million would go toward new school construction and improvements, $10 million for a new library and computer labs and more than $3.7 million would go for more parks and equipment for existing recreational facilities.

Tuesday is also decision day for voters in Fuquay-Varina. There are six bond referendums including funds to improve streets, parks, sidewalks, as well as water and sewer lines.

Polls in both locations are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
