Two more arrested, one sought in Kinston slaying

Charges have been filed against three more people in the fatal shooting of a Kinston man last weekend.

KINSTON, N.C. — Charges have been filed against three more people in the fatal shooting of a Kinston man last weekend.

Officers responding to 611 Girl Scout Road in Kinston late Sunday found Jack Davis Jr., 71, with an apparent gunshot wound to his head, police said.

Davis died Tuesday at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Jaime Luis Torres, 20, and Adrian Torres Lopez, 19, were arrested Wednesday.

On Thursday, N'Finity Jones, 17, of 606 Madison Ave. in Kinston, was charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and first-degree burglary. Jonathan Ordonez, 16, of 1202 Morningside Drive in Kinston, was charged with conspiracy, first-degree burglary and larceny.

All four are being held in the Lenoir County jail. Torres and Jones are being held without bond, while Lopez is being held under a $750,000 bond and Ordonez is being held under a $500,000 bond.

Police also issued arrest warrants Thursday for Johnny Ray Sanders, 21, of 202 McDaniels St., Apt. 26N in Kinston, on charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, first-degree burglary and larceny of a motor vehicle.
