Two jump from second floor in Garner apartment fire
Two people were taken to the hospital Monday night when they jumped from the second floor of a Garner apartment complex after a fire broke out.

GARNER, N.C. — Two people were taken to the hospital Monday night when they jumped from the second floor of a Garner apartment complex after a fire broke out.
Authorities said that the fire at 121 Shady Lawn Court started inside a first flood unit, which sustained water, fire and smoke damage.
Eight units were evacuated and authorities said that preliminary observation showed three units also sustained smoke damage.
Authorities said there were no fatalities in the incident and the extent of injuries for the two who jumped were unknown.
