Two injured in Rolesville crash

A man and a women were sent to the hospital early Monday after their truck ran off the rain-slick road about a half mile outside Rolesville.

ROLESVILLE, N.C. — A man and a women were sent to the hospital early Monday after their truck ran off the rain-slick road about a half mile outside Rolesville.

According to the State Highway Patrol, Russell Green, 26, lost control of his 2001 Dodge pickup just before 1 a.m. in the 4800 block of Burlington Mills Road. The truck left the road and hit a utility pole, knocking out power to the area for about five hours.

Green and his passenger, Amanda Bidlecome, 34, were taken to WakeMed with injuries described as non-life threatening.
