GARNER, N.C. — One person was critically injured, a second was less seriously hurt and charges were pending in the wake of a rollover auto accident near Garner early Monday, state troopers reported.

Giacomo Dilisi, 20, was reported to be in critical condition at WakeMed after the crash, the Highway Patrol said. He was a passenger in a car that Samantha Settimi, 18, was driving on White Oak Road, troopers said. The car went off the left side of the road in a curve and rolled four or five times, they said.

Settimi was reported to be in good condition, the hospital said.

Speed was a contributing factor in the crash, they said.
