GARNER, N.C. — Two local teens have been charged in the robbery of a pizza delivery driver, Garner police said Wednesday.

Rasheed Stewart, 16, of 106 B Stowe Place, and Earl Bridges, 19, of 106 C Stowe Place, were each charged with one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Investigators said the two called in a pizza order to be delivered to 113 Whithorn Drive shortly after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. When the driver arrived, the home was vacant. Police said the two men robbed the driver of money and the pizza and then left on foot toward Timber Drive.

Officers, with the help of the Wake County Sheriff's Department K-9 unit, were able to track the suspects to Bridges’ residence, police said.
