Groups across the Triangle and state right now are vying for a piece of more than $1.1 million in Pepsi Refresh grants.

Projects could benefit the N.C. Museum of History, local high school students and more. They just need your vote of support and voting ends on Tuesday.

I wrote about a project proposed by the history museum, which hopes to win $50,000 to build a hands-on gallery for kids at the Raleigh museum. There are many more projects too. Wakefield High School's efforts to win $25,000 for new band uniforms is in the No. 2 spot at the moment and the top 15 projects win prizes in that category.
After I wrote that post, readers added details about more in the comments. So click here to read that post and find out how you can support some projects that could help lots of kids in the area.
