RALEIGH, N.C. — Triangle Restaurant Week is January 20-26, and there are plenty of menu options for vegetarians.

During TRW, dozens of participating restaurants in the area are offering three course prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner. Here are some vegetarian options for TRW:

Bida Manda, Raleigh. There are many vegetarian and gluten-free options at this Laotian restaurant. Try the Crispy Spring Rolls or Lettuce Wraps for the first course and the Green Papaya Salad or Pumpkin Curry for an entree.
Black Cat Cafe, Raleigh. Salads, soups and sandwiches at Black Cat can be made with vegan or vegetarian alternatives. Try the Veggie Barbecue Sandwich, made with soy.
Irregardless Cafe, Raleigh. Irregardless is a well-known haven for vegetarians and vegans, and TRW is no exception. Standouts include vegan Shepherd's Pie, vegetarian Chile Rellenos and vegetarian/gluten-free Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee.
Sitti, Raleigh. Authentic Lebanese and vegetarian cuisine go hand-in-hand at Sitti. Black Hummus, Eggplant and Chickpea Stew and an Iced Duo for dessert are on their $20 dinner menu.
Tuscan Blu, Raleigh. This Italian restaurant offers fresh salads and vegetarian pastas, like the gluten-free Ravioli Toscani, stuffed with spinach and ricotta.
Five Star, Raleigh. Many of this Asian restaurant's TRW options can be substituted for tofu or tempeh, including the Lettuce Wraps, Five Star General's Chicken and Spicy Shrimp with Noodles.
58 Fifty Bistro, Durham. Several of 58 Fifty's modern American dishes are available in gluten-free or vegetarian options during TRW. Choices include Irish Nachos, a Hummus Veggie Wrap, Cajun Chicken Pasta and more.

Please note that I only included restaurants whose TRW menus specifically said "vegetarian," "vegan," and "gluten free." Other participating restaurants may still be able to accommodate dietary needs, so I would contact restaurants directly if you have questions.

Where are you excited to try vegetarian or vegan cuisine during TRW?
