Triangle Restaurant News: Burger Bach opens Monday

The New Zealand-inspired gastropub and burger restaurant will open on Monday in Durham.

RALEIGH, N.C.Burger Bach, a New Zealand-inspired gastro-pub and burger restaurant, opens Monday, March 23 on Ninth Street in Durham.
Pharmacy Bottle + Beverage opened this week at 120 E. Chatham St. in downtown Cary. The location features a tap room and retail section offering beer and wine.
Noodles & Company is opening a new location at Parkside Town Commons in Cary. Opening March 30, the location will also offer catering.
Jasmin Mediterranean Bistro has opened its fifth Triangle location, Triangle Food Guy reports. The restaurant's newest location is at the corner of Franklin and Columbia Streets in Chapel Hill.
In Raleigh, Wicked Taco is planning to open in May in the old KFC spot on Western Boulevard, TFG reports.
Sad news: Upper Crust Bakery in Lafayette Village in north Raleigh has closed. Twitter user Trish W (@Tdub_Hokie) posted a photo of the building with a closed sign on the door.
Smallcakes in the Woodcroft shopping center in Durham is hosting a fun event on Saturday (March 21). There will be free cotton candy and balloons to the first 50 children in the store.
There are only a few days left to help save Bull City Cidery! The Durham business has to relocate its current space because the property got purchased. Owners are running a Kickstarter to raise $25,000 to help upgrade equipment in order to increase capacity at a larger location. There are only eight days to go and they are really close to meeting their goal.
Remember that today (March 20) is Macaron Day in the Triangle! Twenty-five percent of Macaron sales at participating restaurants will be donated to local Meals on Wheels chapters.
