RALEIGH, N.C.Nothing Bundt Cakes held its grand opening in Park West Village shopping area in Morrisville this week. On Saturday, the first 50 guests with purchase will win one bundtlet per month for a year! Doors open at 10 a.m. From noon to 2 p.m., there will be a family fun event with balloons, face painting and cake samples.
Big Ed's will be getting bigger. The restaurant announced plans this week to open its second Raleigh location in the Quail Corners Shopping Center in north Raleigh. Big Ed's North is expected to open in mid-July.
Bottle Revolution craft beer store has opened in north Raleigh's Greystone Village next to Gonza Tacos y Tequila, Triangle Explorer John Huisman reports.
Pita Bon Mediterranean Bistro has opened on Kildaire Farm Road in Cary.
If you want to try out the insanely popular Cousins Maine Lobster food truck, head to Double Barley Brewing in Smithfield on Saturday for the Pints of Prevention event from 3-6 p.m.

And Greek Gussy's food truck is holding the grand opening of its new restaurant Gussy's Place at 2945 S. Miami Blvd. in Durham, on Tuesday, May 26.
Buffalo Brothers is planning a location in Garner. The pizza and wings joint is planning a location at 7245 White Oak Road near Target in the White Oak Crossing shopping center, Triangle Business Journal reports. This will be the fourth Buffalo Brothers location in the area. There are two in Raleigh and one in Wake Forest.
Mexican restaurant La Carreta is moving into the old O.C. Bar and Grill spot in the Shops at Oberlin Court in Raleigh, Triangle Business Journal reports. The local chain has a few others locations, including one in Cary.
A new bar is headed to downtown Raleigh. The Indy Week reports that Ruby Deluxe is under construction at 414 Fayetteville Street. The bar will be underground with entrances at street level at Salisbury and Fayetteville.
A new restaurant is headed to Carrboro's Carr Mill Mall. Cafe Symmetry's Facebook page says it will serve "expansive selection of made-from-scratch choices including many super-foods and locally sourced ingredients-foods you want to eat more often, and a full bar." It will be located at 200 N. Greensboro St. It is expected to open in June, according to Triangle Business Journal.

Travel blog Only in North Carolina named its 10 Best Burger Joints in the state recently. Al's Burger Shack in Chapel Hill and Johnson's Drive-In in Siler City made the cut.
Entertainment and food website Thrillist named its 33 Best Ice Cream Shops in America. The Parlour in Durham made the list with a great mention about their salted butter caramel!
