RALEIGH, N.C. — WRAL Out and About reported last Friday in the Foodie news that Ponysaurus Brewing has opened a taproom in Durham. In addition to great beer, food truck fans will want to stop by as food trucks are serving here. So, far American Meltdown, Pie Pushers, SoomSoom Pita Pockets, and Sympathy for the Deli have been spotted here.

This weekend is also packed with food truck events in the Triangle:

  • Saturday, Oct. 10: Knightdale Station Park hosts a food truck rodeo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Trucks include Backyard Bistro, Barone Meatball, Bulkogi, Cocoa Forte, D' Burritos, Dusty Donuts, Fire Chef and Kona Ice.
  • Saturday, Oct. 10: Food truck rodeo 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fuquay-Varina Day and Night festival. Trucks will be on Raleigh and Depot streets.
  • Sunday, Oct. 11: Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo featuring more than 50 food trucks from across the state. Trucks will be on Fayetteville Street and neighboring streets from City Plaza to the Capitol. The event is 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 11: Downtown Cary Food and Flea happens in the Ashworth Village from noon to 4 p.m.
