Triangle Food Truck News: Trucks to attend Beericana Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. — ICYMI: Pho Nomenal Dumplings is on Food Network’s The Great Food Truck RaceSeason 6. SPOILER ALERT!  They move on to Amarillo in next week’s episode.  Looks like this phenomenal team is making some strides, too.  First two episodes, they were in the bottom two. This week’s episode they were in third place behind Waffle Love from Utah, and Postcards from Los Angeles. 

This Tuesday, Chef Schaumann of the Sol Tacos will takeover the Berkeley Café as part of the Takeover Tuesday series.

This Saturday is Beericana. Hosted by 919 Beer, the event highlights local, craft beer. In addition to the more than 60 breweries on hand, there will also be 20 food trucks. Tickets are available, as well as a limited number of VIP tickets, which provide early entry and special beers tapped.

On Sunday, head to Ashworth Village from noon to 4 p.m. in downtown Cary for the Food and Flea event. There will be food trucks, craft beer, art, crafts, edible goods, music and more.

Also getting word that Crispy Gyoza, a Japanese gyoza truck, will hit the streets soon.
