Go Ape, the zip line and treetop adventure course that opened at Blue Jay Point County Park earlier this year, is hoping to lure more families outside instead of in stores on Black Friday with a special deal for kids.

On Nov. 27, the company will open its course for free to kids ages 10 to 15 when accompanied by an adult - a great savings considering the cost for kids ages 10 to 15 is $35 to $37. (Tickets for ages 16 and up are $55 to $57).

To explore the treetops, participants must be at least 10 years old, 55 inches tall and no more than 285 pounds. One participating adult (age 18 and up) is required to supervise up to two 10 to 15 year olds.

Go Ape's website has details and ticket information.
