Traffic diverted on I-85 in Alamance County
Traffic on Interstate 85 in Alamance County was being diverted around an overturned tractor-trailer Wednesday afternoon.

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Traffic on Interstate 85 in Alamance County was being diverted around an overturned tractor-trailer Wednesday afternoon.
Police expected delays to last until about 4 p.m. while crews cleaned the truck's cargo from the roadway. They recommended that traffic avoid the area between Exit 143 (Alamance Road/N.C. Highway 62) and Exit 145 (Maple Avenue/N.C. Highway 49).
The driver of the truck had only minor injuries, authorities said.
