<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Two of three lanes of Interstate-540 West between U.S. 64 Business and Buffaloe Road will be closed over the weekend. <br />

The lanes are closed from Friday at 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday.<br />

The state Department of Transportation said the closure is necessary for the contractor to complete punch list items for the Interstate 540 project. The department will be scheduling more closures to complete the remaining work on the project.
