Walnut Street Reopens After Wreck
A portion of Walnut Street was blocked for a few hours Wednesday afternoon following an accident, police said.

CARY, N.C. — A portion of Walnut Street was blocked for a few hours Wednesday afternoon following an accident, police said.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Walnut Street and Lawrence Road, police said.
Three people were taken to WakeMed for treatment of injuries. Their conditions were unknown Wednesday afternoon.
Walnut Street reopened to traffic by about 3 p.m.
The accident remains under investigation.
