Traffic unwinding after wreck closes Capital Blvd.
A wreck involving multiple vehicles closed all northbound lanes and one southbound lane of Capital Boulevard near I-540 Saturday afternoon, state Highway Patrol officials said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A wreck involving multiple vehicles closed all northbound lanes and one southbound lane of Capital Boulevard near I-540 Saturday afternoon, state Highway Patrol officials said.
It wasn't clear what caused the wreck, but authorities confirmed that there were multiple injuries.
Raleigh police established a detour for about an hour while emergency crews worked to clean up the wreck.
By 3:30 p.m., traffic was moving slowly and all lanes had been reopened.
