Tonight's Stagville Under the Stars canceled
The potential for severe weather forces the cancelation of this popular event.

A quick note to share that tonight's Stagville Under the Stars event at Historic Stagville in Durham has been canceled because of the potential for severe weather.
According to WRAL, we could see some scattered thunderstorms and heavy downpours this afternoon.
Organizers hope they'll be able to reschedule the evening event, which features skywatching programs led by Morehead Planetarium and Science Center staff. I'll keep you posted.
