Santa Train at the Museum of Life and Science

Just a reminder: Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m., Tuesday, to the general public to the Museum of Life and Sciences' annual Santa Train.

I suspect that tickets could go even more quickly for this event as tickets already are sold out for Pullen Park's Holiday Express. Parents might just be scrambling for a similar event! (Remember, we have lots of Santa Train options around here!).

This is the 38th year for the museum's Santa Train, which includes thousands of sparkly lights, hot chocolate, face painting, crafts, activities, special treats and a moonlit ride to the North Pole where Santa and his elves will meet you.

The event runs Dec. 2 to Dec. 6; Dec. 9 to Dec. 13; and Dec. 16 to Dec. 20. Tickets are $15 for Wednesday and Thursday evenings and $20 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. It's free for ages 2 and younger. Train times start at 5:20 p.m.

The museum's website has details and ticket information.
Go Ask Mom's Holiday Central page has more events, recipes and crafts.
