Three charged with robbing Zebulon pizza store

Zebulon police have arrested a woman and two men, all residents of the same home, in connection with the robbery of a pizza store late Tuesday.

ZEBULON, N.C. — Zebulon police have arrested a woman and two men, all residents of the same home, in connection with the robbery of a pizza store late Tuesday.

Police said that two people – identified as Lateasha Justine Amerson, 17, and Naquan Lorenzo Green, 19 – used a gun to rob the Little Caesar's at 100 Wakelon St.

Amerson, Green and Jesse Antawon Lane, 21, all of 1204 W. Gannon Ave., were each charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Amerson was also charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon. As well, she and Green face additional charges of second-degree kidnapping.

All three suspects were placed in the Wake County jail. Amerson was given a $1 million secured bond, Green a $200,000 secured bond, and Lane a $150,000 secured bond.

Amerson and Lane were both on probation at the time of the robbery, according to state Department of Correction records.

She was convicted on Nov. 1 of felony breaking-and-entering, attempted larceny after breaking-and-entering and larceny from a merchant.

Lane was on probation for November 2009 conviction for assault on a female and previously served time for a 2006 conviction for conspiracy to commit armed robbery, records show.
