Three Arrested in Goldsboro Break-In

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Goldsboro Police caught three burglars in the act Tuesday night on Bob Braswell Court.

Officers responding to a call about a break-in at 1305 Bob Braswell Court chased and arrested two men. A third was apprehended shortly thereafter.

Jamaine Eugene Rivers, 16, of 407 Mercer St., and Tramaine Santwan Surrett, 17, of 907 Courtyard Circle, were charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, felony possession of stolen property and resisting arrest. They were being held in the Wayne County jail Wednesday under $100,000 secured bond.

A third suspect in the break-in, Fiante Semaj Amerson, 17, of 287 East Seymour Drive, is being held on the same charges. Amerson was also wanted for setting fires at two area Wal-Marts. He faces charges of felong burining of personal property and felony burning of a building in those cases.

Amerson was held in the Wayne County jail under a $120,000 secured bond.
