Three arrested in Garner shooting

GARNER, N.C. — Three people were arrested in connection with a shooting in Garner on Thursday night.

Garner police said Dwight Hinton, Angelica Williams and Gary Crowder broke into a home in the 900 block of Benson Road and shot one person. Police did not release information on the condition of the victim. Hinton was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, and Williams and Crowder were charged with aiding and abetting assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill.  All three were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony breaking and entering, and conspiracy to commit breaking and entering.
