The third shooting in Goldsboro in five days left one person injured Monday afternoon.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The third shooting in Goldsboro in five days left one person injured Monday afternoon.

Jaquan Dennis, 19, of Goldsboro, told police that an unknown person shot him in the foot as he was standing in the parking lot at 300 W. Grantham St. around 4 p.m., said Sgt. Paige Learnard.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Goldsboro Police Investigator Doug Bethea at 919-580-4214 or Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that solve crimes.

On Sunday, a man was shot in the Jefferson Street area. His name, condition and other details of the shooting haven't been released.

Last Thursday, Khyrie Roberts, 21, was killed in a drive-by shooting in the parking lot of the Madison Market on Holly Street.

No arrests have been made in any of the shootings.
