Monday
The N.C. State Fair continues this week. Out and About will be at the fair every day looking for the best food, rides and fun.
Go "Into the Woods" for a great cause tonight. Enjoy dinner, a private dress rehearsal, hosted bar, and a silent auction all to benefit NACE (National Association for Catering and Events). Tickets are $75. The North Carolina Theatre production opens later this week.
Tuesday
Enjoy some laughs at the Bulltown Comedy Series at Fullsteam Brewery tonight. Show starts at 9 p.m.
Danny Elfman and Tim Burton represent one of the most successful composer/director collaborations in Hollywood history. The North Carolina Symphony will bring these scores to life on stage at DPAC tonight. The music will be enhanced by visuals on the big screen of Tim Burton's original film sketches, drawings and story boards.
Wednesday
"Into the Woods" opened Tuesday night but it will run through Sunday at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium.
Ricky Martin will play DPAC tonight. Tickets start at $40.
Thursday
Wake Forest will hold its Halloween Spooktacular at Flaherty Park Community Center tonight. This year’s festivities include a costume contest, face painting and cupcake walk.
Also tonight, comic Dave Attell plays Goodnights Comedy Club. His shows continue through Saturday.
Friday
The Dogwood Fall Festival gets underway this evening in Fayetteville. There will be three days of fun including a Boo and Brew Garden, food truck festival, zombie walk and more.
