The week ahead: Save the Pinhook, Breaking Benjamin

Triangle Restaurant Week starts today. More than 80 restaurants are participating this year.

Also, two restaurants are reopening today. Cafe Helios reopens on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh and Twisted Fork opens its doors at Triangle Town Center in north Raleigh.

And if you want to enjoy some live music tonight, we recommend heading to The Pour House in downtown Raleigh for the five-piece band Baked Goods, which plays a mix of jazz, funk and rock. They will be joined by Caroline Cotter and Joy Ike. The show is free.

See local comedians on stage tonight at Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh. Open mic night starts at 8 p.m. and admission is $5.

Also tonight, cheer on the Carolina Hurricanes as they face off on the ice against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Tonight is a great for music. Rock band Breaking Benjamin plays an "Unplugged" show at The Ritz in Raleigh. Tickets are $35.

Vocal quartet The Tenors play DPAC tonight. This Juno award-winning adult contemporary group is promoting their new album, Under One Sky.

You can help Save the Pinhook in Durham during a concert series that kicks off tonight. Owners have launched a crowd-funding campaign to keep the venue open. Proceeds from these concerts will go to that effort.

Get those vocal chords warm at PopUp Chorus tonight at Motorco Music Hall in Durham. Selections tonight include Franki Valli and Paul McCartney. No prior singing experience needed and no auditions. Just join the chorus. Admission is $5.
