RALEIGH, N.C. — Lots happening this week. Here are our picks:

Monday

Enjoy some post-holiday wine tasting at Chatham Hill Winery in Cary. Tastings are happening 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
Also today, the HighSchoolOT.com Holiday Invitational continues at Broughton High School.

Tuesday

The 21st Kwanzaa Celebration at the Cary Arts Center kicks off at 11 a.m. today. Enjoy live music, food, a vendor market and children's crafts.
Also tonight, The Book of Mormon starts its run at DPAC. Tickets start at $75.

Wednesday

Take advantage of the ice in City Plaza and visit Winterfest.

Thursday

There are a lot of events happening tonight. Some of our picks include:

First Night Raleigh in downtown Raleigh kicks off at 2 p.m. and includes an early acorn drop and fireworks for children at 7 p.m. The official acorn drop is at midnight.
Enjoy NYE with The Love Language at The Pour House in downtown Raleigh. The event kicks off at 9 p.m.
Head to Fullsteam Brewery for Stay Classy Durham, which include live music, great beer and food from American Meltdown.
