RALEIGH, N.C. — A look at some events to help get you through the workweek. 
Monday 
The Got To Be NC Competition Dining Series continues tonight with a quarterfinal battle between Chelsi Hogue of Ed's Southern Food & Spirits in Goldsboro and Curt Shelvey of Curt's Cucina in Southern Pines. 
Tuesday 
It's Fat Tuesday! Celebrate in the Bull City at Durham Mardi Gras. The parade starts at CCB Plaza at 7 p.m. After, listen to some live music at one of the many venues hosting bands - Fullsteam, Motorco, Cocoa Cinammon, The Bar and The Pit. (Update: This event has been postponed due to weather.)
Wednesday 
"Motown: The Musical" plays the DPAC through Sunday. The production tells the story of Motown Records founder Berry Gordy and his journey from professional boxer to music mogul.
Celebrate the Battle of the Blues with a special screening of the documentary "Duke-Carolina: The Blue Blood Rivalry" at Stadium 10 Theater at Northgate Mall. There will be a VIP red carpet and proceeds will go to support The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Following the documentary, the Duke-Carolina game will be shown on all 10 screens free of charge. (UPDATE: This screening has been postponed due to weather.)
Thursday 
Second Chance Pet Adoptions and Chatham Hill Winery are teaming up for Wags, Whiskers and Wine. The benefit will include wine tastings, appetizers and a raffle. Tickets are $20 each. 
Friday 
Kat Robichaud, who appeared on "The Voice," will be performing at Lincoln Theater tonight.
