The Handmade Market will bring more than 50 independent artists, designers and crafters together Saturday, May 12, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will be held in City Market near Moore Square in downtown Raleigh.
The market will be held indoors and features merchandise such as jewelry, apparel, fine art, accessories, housewares, paper goods and more. (Mother's Day is the next day; if you're a procrastinator, you can still find a beautiful handmade gift for mom here! Take a look at some of this merchandise.)
Admission is free; however, you can purchase a raffle ticket for $3 at the entrance for a chance to win a gift basket full of handmade goodies. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Raleigh City Farm, a charity that aims to transform spaces downtown into urban farmland.

Free parking is available on the weekends in the Blount Street parking deck and the Moore Square parking deck.
