The Coupon Penguin has been spotted!

The display of coupons that appears a couple times a year has been spotted! I bet you can guess why we call him the Penguin! As you can see from the picture, the display is shaped like a big giant penguin and it has a number of tear pads with coupons.  The coupons are all manufacturer's coupons and some expire at the end of April and some expire at the end of May.

I found the Penguin in the picture above at the Lowes Foods in the 40/42 area at the intersection of Hwy 50 and Hwy 42 today (2/29). Please post where you have spotted the Penguin, as well.

Here are the coupons that were still left on the display:

$1/2 packages of PictSweet Deluxe Steamables or Deluxe sides (indicates Do Not Double, bar code starts with a 5), expires 4/30/2012

$1.00 off any Kahiki product, expires 5/31/2012 (the Kahiki frozen meals for 4 peple are on sale for $6.99 at Lowes Foods this week (regularly $7.99). With sale and $1 coupon the total is $5.99 and includes chicken, veggies and rice. We will be enjoying the Sesame Chicken one night next week for dinner.)

$1/2 varitieties of Sister Shubert's products, expires 5/31/2012

$1/4 Stouffer's or Lean Cuisine entrees, 5 - 20 oz, expires 5/31/12

$1/2 Smuckers Uncrustables, expires 5/31/12

The Coupon Penguin was already missing a few entire coupon tear pads so I am not sure what those coupons were. Based on the picture on the display, I am guessing at least one of them was a Steamfresh veggie coupon. Please post the details on the missing coupons if you have them. And please don't take entire tear pads. It's good coupon manners to be reasonable with the number of coupons that you take.
