The Black House at Straw Valley is closing
Although the restaurant is closing, Straw Valley Project managing partner Scott Bednaz says his company will still use the facilities for wine tastings, dinners and private events.

DURHAM, N.C. — Straw Valley Food and Drink and The Black House at Straw Valley are closing for restructuring and improvements to the facility, owners announced Monday.
The Black House opened last March. In addition to The Black House, Straw Valley also hosted a wine and raw bar and beer garden.
Although the restaurant is closed, Straw Valley Project LLC managing partner Scott Bednaz says his company will still use the facilities for wine tastings, dinners and private events.
