A pedestrian died Monday evening after being hit by an SUV, Fayetteville police said.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A 15-year-old pedestrian died Monday evening after being hit by an SUV, Fayetteville police said.

Matthew Beharry, of Ryan Street in Fayetteville, was crossing South Reilly Road at Northumberland Street at about 5 p.m. and was hit by a 2002 Infiniti driven by Karen Adamson, police said.

No charges have been filed, but the crash remains under investigation.
