A teen from McGee's Crossroads died Monday morning of injuries suffered Sunday when his minibike collided with a pickup truck.

<b>JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C.</b> — A teen from McGee's Crossroads died Monday morning of injuries suffered Sunday when his  minibike collided with a pickup truck.<br />

Brandon Spence, 14, was riding his bike just before 3 p.m. Sunday on N.C. Highway 59 near South Pleasant Coates Road when he swerved into the path of the truck, troopers said.<br />

The teen was taken to WakeMed. The driver of the truck, Jerry Johnson, 52, was unhurt. Troopers did not expect to charge anyone in the incident.
