A 16-year-old boy was injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Tryon Road near Withers Road on Thursday evening, police said.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A 16-year-old boy was injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Tryon Road near Withers Road on Thursday evening, police said.

The wreck occurred when the teen lost control of a Honda and hit a delivery truck head-on. The teen, whose name was not released, was taken to WakeMed and was listed in critical condition.

The driver of the delivery truck was also taken to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries.

Part of Tryon Road was closed due to the wreck.
