Joseph Gerald Hart, 16, who was injured Thursday evening in a two-vehicle wreck on Tryon Road, died Monday, police said.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A 16-year-old boy who was injured Thursday evening in a two-vehicle wreck on Tryon Road died Monday, police said.

The wreck occurred near Withers Road when Joseph Gerald Hart lost control of a Honda and hit a delivery truck head-on. Hart died at WakeMed.

The driver of the delivery truck, Ahmed Latif Adbul-Quyyum, 25, was taken to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries.

Part of Tryon Road was closed for a time due to the wreck.

Police say a woman was shot in the upper thigh while two men inside the home were arguing. EMS stabilized the woman and took her to ECU Health in Greenville. Both men suffered gunshot wounds during the altercation.
