Take a Child Outside Week, an initiative of the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences, starts Tuesday. And as I wrote last week, we have many opportunities to get kids outside to enjoy our natural world during this week and year-round.

It's shaping up to be a gorgeous week - perfect weather for hikes and neighborhood walks.
