GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A Ford Explorer flipped over several times on Interstate 795 North in Wayne County Sunday morning, injuring all seven occupants, state troopers said.

A tire blew out on the Explorer around mile marker 91 shortly before 11 a.m., troopers said. The SUV flipped over several times before landing upright. An adult and child in the back of the vehicle were ejected.

The occupants were taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Two adults in the front were wearing seatbelts, but the adult and four children in the back weren't wearing theirs, troopers said.

Troopers did not expect to file charges.

The people were traveling from Goldsboro to Pikeville to attend church, troopers said.
