RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities shut down a section of North New Hope Road early Monday after an SUV crashed into a power pole near Daly Road.
Raleigh police say the wreck happened at about 2:15 a.m. when the SUV ran off the road, hit a power pole and crashed into a yard.
Power lines fell into the roadway after the crash, forcing authorities to temporarily shut down North New Hope Road.
No serious injuries were reported.
