Suspect identified in December bank robbery in Fayetteville
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are looking for public assistance in locating a man they believe was involved in the Dec. 11 robbery of a Fayetteville bank.

Detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of Mark Lawrence Campbell, 35, of the 4500 block of Belford Road. He is charged with common law robbery of a bank.

Authorities said Campbell went into the BB&T branch at 7790 Good Middling Drive and told a teller he had a weapon and demanded money, police said. He pulled a mask over his face while at the counter. Police said he left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
