Suspect charged in fatal Durham shooting
Police have arrested a man in connection with a double shooting that killed a Durham man earlier this month.

DURHAM, N.C. — Police have arrested a man in connection with a double shooting that killed a Durham man earlier this month.
Damari Harper, 22, of Lawson Street, was charged Thursday with one count of murder in the Aug. 4 death of Zacchaeus Kejuan Ormond, 26.
Investigators said Ormond and a 30-year-old Durham woman were both shot on Lawson Street, between Plum and Bacon streets.
The woman was treated for a gunshot wound to the hand.
