Kids Together Playground celebrates its birthday with special activities.

Here's an event to add to your weekend plans:

<a href="http://kidstogethercary.org/EventsNNews.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Kids Together Playground</strong></a> in Cary will celebrate its birthday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, at the playground at Marla Dorrel Park, 111 Thurston Dr.

Special activities include a parade through the park, a reading of the Kids Together story reading Dr. Seuss-style, fruit slushies and other refreshments. It's free.

The park, <a href="https://www.wral.com/playground-review-kids-together-in-cary/7428646/"><strong>one of my very favorite in the Triangle</strong></a>, offers pieces that are accessible for children with handicaps.

In the complaint, a video showed the employee, identified as 22-year-old Cassidy Gill, striking a dog in January and February. The video in the complaint was shared with other social media accounts, including PETA.
