A substitute teacher has pleaded guilty to exposing himself to a 13-year-old girl at McDougle Middle School in April.

<b>HILLSBOROUGH, N.C.</b> — A substitute teacher has pleaded guilty to exposing himself to a 13-year-old girl at McDougle Middle School in April.

Travis Lee Thompson, 40, of Efland, pleaded guilty to indecent exposure to a minor and was ordered to register with authorities as a sex offender.

Thompson was working as a substitute teacher in the in-school suspension room when the girl saw him with his genitals exposed.  The girl later told some friends, and school administrators later heard about it and reported the incident to police.
