Flooding and downed trees were reported across central North Carolina after severe storms moved through the region Wednesday night.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Flooding and downed trees were reported across central North Carolina after severe storms moved through the region Wednesday night.

Viewers reported flooding in Raleigh on Avent Ferry Road and Gorman Street, as well as downed limbs on Trailwood Pines Lane.

Downed trees were reported along Beaver Creek Parkway in Roxboro, emergency dispatchers said.

Trees fell on homes but no injuries were reported, dispatchers said.

Multiple counties, including Wake and Johnston counties, were under a severe thunderstorm warning throughout the evening.
