Did you resolve to get fit this year? Stroller Strides is making it a little easier this month with a week of free classes from Jan. 19 to Jan. 24.

The classes take place that Monday, Jan. 19, to Saturday, Jan. 24, across the Triangle. They include locations in Raleigh, Apex, Cary and Durham. Participants can attend one or six classes for free that week.

The program is designed for moms of all fitness levels and their stroller-riding kids (ages 6 weeks to 4 years or so, depending on how long they'll stay in a stroller). It incorporates power walking or jogging and strength training, along with word play and songs that include the child in the fun.

It's a good workout! The program also includes weekly playgroups, moms nights out and community events. The registration page has more information and the complete schedule for the week of free workouts.
